Celebrating 100 Years
The Northeast Catholic Alumni Association is joining with the Oblates of St Francis De Sales and the Norphans to celebrate 100 years since the opening of Northeast Catholic High School. It also marks the beginning of the Oblates' presences in the Philadelphia Archdiocese. We have a full year of events that will celebrate the past century and we hope you will join us for one or more of these events throughout the year.
Guerin Memorial Dinner/Dance
The annual Guerin Memorial Dinner Dance was be held on January 24, 2026 at the Bellevue Hotel in Philadelphia. It was also the Feast Day of St Francis De Sales.

All funds raised are dedicated to caring for the infirm and retired men living at the Oblate Retirement Residence (Childs, MD), Salesianum Residence (Wilmington, DE, and parishes around the East Coast.
St Patrick's Day Parade
Once again the Northeast Catholic Alumni will march in the St Patrick's Day Parade in Philadelphia on Sunday, March 15, 2026. While details for our 2025 march are still not finalized, we do know that we'll have a North Catholic decorated trolley with us this year. Last year was a very fun day, as we marched along with Div. 87 of the AOH (The North Catholic Division) as well as some Little Flower Alumnae. Last year, the Alumni Association was awarded the Msgr. Thomas J. Rilley Award for "Outstanding Fraternal Organization." Check our site and social media account for details as we get closer to the parade date
95th Communion Breakfast
In 2026, the Northeast Catholic Alumni Association will hold our 85th annual Communion Breakfast at Cannstatter Volkest-Verein, in Northeast Philadelphia on Sunday, April 12, 2026. As always, our morning begins with a mass, followed by our required all alumni meeting, and then breakfast and awards ceremonies, including induction of our class of 2026 Hall of Fame inductions.
Once the details of the Communion Breakfast are finalized, we will share on our website and social media.

Norphans Golf Outing
The Norphans will hold their annual Golf Outing on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Once again, this outing will be held at the Juniata Golf Course, the traditional home of Northeast Catholic Golf and North Catholic Alumni.
All monies raised from this outing goes directly to the high school grants and other Norphan charities.
Once the details are finalized for the outing this year, they will be shared by the Norphans.

Alumni Memorial Day Mass and Service
On Memorial Day, May 25, 2026, The Northeast Catholic Alumni Association will continue our tradition of honoring our alumni who have lost their lives in service of our country.
We will begin with a mass at Resurrection of Our Lord Church, followed by a prayer and remembrance service at the alumni office at our grotto.
Details for the day will be updated on our website once they are finalized.

Norphans Summer Reunion
The Norphans will hold their 15th annual Summer Reunion at Keenan's, in North Wildwood on Saturday, July 25, 2026. This is a full weekend of events, beginning with the celebrity bartender event on Friday, the main event on Saturday and the annual Mass on the Beach on Sunday morning.

100 Year Anniversary of Northeast Catholic's Opening
On September 8, 1926, the Northeast Catholic High School for Boys opened it's doors for the first time. Over the years, thousands of young men walked through those doors as boys, and left as young Salesian Gentlemen.
Join us on September 8, 2026, at the building that was once home to our beloved school to mingle with other alum and take an opportunity to get some pictures on the front steps of the school.
We will publish any additional details once they are finalized.
36th Alumni Golf Classic
On Tuesday, September 22, 1926, the Northeast Catholic Alumni Association will hold the 36th Annual Golf Classic at North Hills Country Club. This golf classic is the single largest fundraiser for the Alumni Memorial Scholarship Fund. 100% of the proceeds from the golf classic is directed to the scholarship fund.

Alumni Homecoming
All Years Reunion
The Alumni's Homecoming - All Years Reunion is usually the Sunday before Thanksgiving, but next year we are moving it to Saturday, October 3, 2026. In addition to the date change, the 2026 event will move to Canstatter's in Northeast Philadelphia and it will be an outdoor event. This will allow any/all Falcon alumni, as well as family and friends to join us as we celebrate 100th years of North Catholic brotherhood.

Sunday Mass at
Northeast Catholic Building
A mass will be held at the old Northeast Catholic High School building at 1842 Torresdale Ave. This mass will be on All Saints Day (November 1, 2026) and will be dedicated to all of our deceased alumni.
Please join us as we once again walk the halls of the building that we all walked during our time at North Catholic. Coffee and donuts will be served after mass.
Once we have more details, they will be posted on the alumni, Norphans and Oblates' websites and social media sites.
100 Year Celebration of Alumni, Faculty and Friends

The final event of the 100 Years Celebration will be a joint event of the Oblates of St Francis De Sales, the Northeast Catholic Alumni Association and the Norphans.
This event will be an informal gathering on Sunday, November 8, 2026. It will be held at the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 5 at 11630 Caroline Road in Northeast Philadelphia.
In addition to North Catholic comradery, we will also serve Hors d'oeuvres and libations throughout the afternoon.
