ree

On Veterans Day, Tuesday November 11, 2025, the Northeast Catholic Alumni Association will join with Father Judge to honor all those who gave everything for this country from the only two Oblate schools in Philadelphia. This includes the 27 Father Judge young men who lost their lives during the Viet Nam conflict, as well as the 257 North Catholic Falcons who gave their lives in WWII, Korea, Viet Name and Afghanistan.

The day will begin with a mass at St Dominic's (8532 Frankford Ave) at 8:00am. Immediately after the mass a procession will be led by a bag piper, the Police Honor Guard & bugler. Also included in the procession will be North Catholic veterans carrying a North Catholic banner, Father Brian Connolly & Father Joseph Campellone, other veterans and parishioner attendees.

The procession will move south from the church on the west side of Frankford Ave. The first stop will be a prayer service at the newly raised "North Catholic '257' banner, just south of the St Dominic's cemetery. A designated North Catholic veteran will briefly explain the breakdown of the war casualties across the war and conflicts. Taps will be played at this location.
