The Northeast Catholic Alumni Association has launched a new website.
While we have had a site for many years, it was in need of a serious face-lift. We invite everyone to subscribe to the site to get notifications of upcoming events, reunions and any other news that we will share in the coming years.
You can still reach the website from the same URL (www.NECathAlumni.org), and now also at www.NorthCatholicAlumni.org. The new page has an updated layout which will make navigation much easier. In addition, there is a form at the bottom of nearly every page, which will allow alumni of North Catholic, as well as family and friends of North Catholic, to subscribe to the site to get updates. There is also a form to allow visitors to directly contact the Association via email and another to request a scholarship application.
What the Alumni Association Does
The main purpose of the Alumni Association is to promote greater fraternalism among the graduates of Northeast Catholic High School. Throughout the year, the NC Alumni Association runs many events, including a Communion Breakfast in the spring, a Golf Outing, and Turkey Bowl get together in the Fall, as well as other events throughout the year. In addition, we encourage and assist class reps in running reunions. We are always looking for class reps or anyone who just wants to help us in our mission of providing financial assistance to children and grandchildren of our fellow Alum to attend Catholic grade school, high school and college. The Northeast Catholic Alumni Memorial Scholarship Fund provided nearly $500,000 in grants this past year, and we hope to keep assisting our families in the future. We also provide modest assistance to the Oblates of St Francis De Sales. The one thing we can never get enough of is help from people like you, whether that is in the form of being a class rep, a dues paying member, or attending our fundraising events throughout the year.
What's Next?
In the coming months we plan to add an online store as well as a way to make donations and/or pay member dues directly from the website.
